Elena Toth is a talented, multi-faceted contemporary movement artist and performer based in the Calgary area. With years of training in contemporary, ballet, jazz, and tap styles, she has performed in venues across North America. Elena recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary. During this time, she has had the pleasure of learning from world-renowned instructors such as Melanie Kloetzel, Wojtek Mochniej, Michele Moss, and Marie France Forcier. She has also performed in pieces choreographed by Nicole Charlton Goodbrand and Kimberley Cooper while at university. Elena was honoured to receive the Rochelle Gartner Memorial Award in recognition of her outstanding choreographic work in her final senior choreography course.

Elena has also been recognized as an emerging dance filmmaker at screen dance festivals both locally and internationally. Her first student work was screened at the WildDogs Film Festival (Canada, 2024) and the Cyprus Dance Film Festival Youth (Cyprus, 2025). She also received the WildDogs Award in 2024, which acknowledged her work as a promising student filmmaker.

After graduating from the Young Canadians School of Performing Arts, Elena was honoured to be asked back to join the teaching faculty. She deeply enjoys the opportunity to inspire the next generation of performers and has taught over 110 students yearly. She also works as an assistant choreographer of the Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show under the direction of Angela Benson.
